Initiated by the Outback Communities Authority, this Better Mind Health Community Roadshow was funded through by Mark Shirley through a grant secured from Ski for Life. The goal of this tailored initiative was to educate and provide an awareness campaign around mind and physical wellbeing in the Gawler Ranges and Far North.

On Sunday 16th May, Anthony Hart (our founder) and Mark Shirley set off with Far North SA in sight. The first stop off was at Gawler Ranges where Anthony presented at the Gymkhana Shed. The remaining destinations included Iron Knob, Kingoonya, Glendambo and Andamooka. Each community was very accommodating and threw support behind our roadshow with fantastic attendance numbers.

Anthony met some incredible community folk and shared in some raw, open and honest chats.

A huge thank you to Mark Shirley whose commitment to the Outback Communities Authority and bettering the wellbeing of those living in the outback is second to none. A special mention to everyone who helped support the roadshow in some way, from attending, sharing social media posts or contacting their friends in the area — we couldn’t have done it without you.
